It seems since I have started the website there have been a couple of nights already where there are two artists playing the same night at different venues and we have to choose which show we want to go to. This Friday is no different.
While we will be at New Brookland Friday to see our friends Marry a Thief and The Decade, we will be missing one other artist that we highly endorse.
Hannah Miller is playing this Friday at The Watershed and we really hate that we can’t be there. The Watershed is our favorite venue to hear acoustic music and we are going to miss a great show. She is being joined by Sunshone Still and Chris Compton. Two great artists that you should also check out and we will be writing more about in the future.
Buy Hannah Millers newest album Into the Black. It is a beautiful piece of Southern art and is an album that is a must listen for any of you out there that like music in the vein of “The Everybodyfields”, “Iron and Wine” or “Tyler Ramsey” and that crew. I can’t wait for fall so I can roll down my windows and drive home to the Dark Corner of Northern Greenville with this album blasting.
Here are Hannah Miller’s tour dates. Go see her in a town near you. I promise we will be at the show on October 19th.

Watershed Books w/ Sunshone Still and Chris Compton
Also I haven’t written anything about WXRY and their unsigned show on Sunday night at 8. Last Sunday was Hannah, Chris Compton and Sunshone Still and I neglected to remind everyone to listen. I forgot to tell y’all about Friends and Romans when they were on too. We love the show and try to listen every Sunday night, when we are not in the movies which is where I usually am on Sunday nights. Hopefully those guys will upload a song from Sunday the 17th soon and we’ll put a link up to it. You can go there now though and listen to our friends Dylan Gilbert and Friends and Romans from weeks past.
