Last August on the verge of a headlining tour with The Everybodyfields, Will Hoge was involved in a motor scooter accident in Nashville, Tennessee that left him in critical condition. A year later he is back on tour and making his way through the South.
The accident happened after a recording session for his new album, which he just put the finishing touches on in June. The first single, “Even If It Breaks Your Heart,” is described as having a “youthful bliss” regained after years in the music industry. Hoge said that through the making of the new record he “fell in love with Rock N’ Roll again.”
The new album channels a blues-based rock that Hoge says “never goes out of style.” Think Bruce Springsteen, who is also coming to Greenville, September 16th.
