Dylan Gilbert is making South Carolina a priority on his “Trip to the Zoo” summer tour 2009, hitting 5 SC cities along the way. He will be accompanied on these dates by some of SC’s finest, Sequoyah Prep School or their brainchild Justin Osbourne. He won’t make it to Columbia this time through, but have no worries he will be back here in September.
Gilbert will kick off his 5 city run Wednesday night at the new Homemade Genius project in Greenwood and will bring it to a close in Charleston with Run Dan Run.
If you have never seen Dylan Gilbert live, then you are missing out. He is a passionate performer, who always takes time to talk to and get to know his fans before and after shows. His live show is more experimental than what you will hear on his Myspace, but I don’t mean that in an experimental alienating way. Dylan’s live show is like an adventure and the crowd is always invited along for the ride.
