We have been following the ups and downs of Campbell since 2005. Meredith (Scene SC brains) first found them opening for Sherwood at Tremont Music Hall and fell in love with their live show. We caught them a couple of times in Columbia at New Brookland Tavern and The Watershed and were nothing but impressed with their music and stage presence. All of that kind of fizzled over time, but they are back.
Campbell is currently recording a new CD after reinventing themselves as a three piece and hooking up with Crowded Records in Charlotte. These guys are extremely talented musicians and we are excited that they are back playing music and putting out new material. Hopefully the Irish whistle will make a cameo on the new record.
