Toro Y Moi (Chaz Bundick) has officially announced his sophomore follow up to 2010’s Causers of This. Underneath the Pine, will hit the streets February 22, almost exactly a year after his debut release.
The new album, which will come out on Carpark Records, will feature more live instrumentation, setting itself apart from the electronic sampling found on Causers of This.
Expect a jump from the Chillwave to a more lo fi organic sound. See Leave Everywhere and Daytrotter. Like we said before, don’t put a label on him.
