We are no good at keeping secrets.
When we were putting together this show we wanted it to be a blow out line up. Too many good bands, even bands that weren’t together anymore. What were the odds that we could get Baumer to come back and play? Odds were zero. Not going to happen. But, they were working on a new project that was looking to play a show. I present to you The Internet.
The Internet is Nate Boykin, Kenny McWilliams, Chad Rochester and Josh Kean. They will also be featured on our 2011 vinyl compilation along with Valley Maker.
In fall of 2010 The Internet got together in a cabin in the hills of North Carolina for a week and recorded their new EP On The Bring or Bust. Today you can download it on Bandcamp at whatever price you name.
This Friday at New Brookland Tavern, they will be playing their first show together since Baumer said farewell at Headliners. But don’t count on hearing Come on, Feel It.
