On Saturday March 26th Monter Music and Movies in Charleston will be hosting the first record convention to be held in Charleston in many years. Vendors from all over the Southeast will be setting up tables selling everything from vinyl to music memorabilia to comic books. Prices will range from the inexpensive dollar records to hundred-dollar hard to find vinyl.
The event is free and open to the public. Good news to, tables for vendors are still for sale running at $50 for one table and $80 for two.
We’ve all watched the demand for vinyl on the rise lately with people looking for something physical and a warmer sound than the data coming through your computer speakers. This is your chance to go get your hands on some classics and pick up some of your favorite bands new material.
