On Monday night Kitten took the soft out of the House of Softcore and rocked out our living room full band. Everyone was waiting on a knock on the door from the Columbia PD, but we somehow got away with that and a crowd of people.
Playing a house was a little bit out of the ordinary for Kitten. Just a couple of weeks ago they were playing for huge crowds on the Purevolume stage at SXSW and since have continued their tour with Young the Giant, who is currently lighting up radio stations and MTV with their hit single “My Body.”
We got Kitten to tone it down for two acoustic sessions featuring two of their most popular songs and I think they turned out pretty good.
