It seems like just yesterday that Josh Roberts and the Hinges were headlining the SceneSC Sampler release. That was February and a lot has happened since then. Bandmates got married, shows across the Southeast, a line up adjustment and some new songs in the works.
The truth is when we heard “As Steady As We Can” for the first time after they submitted it for the 2011 sampler, we thought it was one of the best songs we’d ever heard. And when I’m laying in bed at night and I get a text from my friend who is at a JRATH show in Tennessee and they tell me he gave SceneSC a shoutout and told them about what we’re doing here it makes me really proud. That just speaks for what kind of guy he is, just like his music speaks for itself. If you haven’t seen JRATH live by now, you’ve been missing great rock and roll in the Capital City for years. But it’s never too late and this show Saturday is going to be a special one. According the Josh Roberts Facebook it will be guitarist Robert Walkers last show after six years with the band.
