Peter Wolf Crier w/ Milagres, Dylan Dickerson, and Young Mumbles
Sunday, Oct. 2nd  El Burrito, 5 Points, Columbia, SC Â
6pm  All Ages  $5
If you miss this one, you really don’t know what’s going on. This is definitely the best show to hit Columbia this fall, maybe even this year. All 4 bands on the list are just brilliant. 2 nationally touring artists and 2 local artists. This show is presented by USC’s radio station WUSC so obviously they know what they’re talking about when they book a show. Headlining the show are Peter Wolf Crier, a band from Jagjaguwar Records who are touring all over the US right now, including dates with Sondre Lerche. They’re a big deal, just watch the video up there and it’ll prove it.
Second, we have Milagres. They sound a bit like Tokyo Police Club and Arcade Fire who are two of the best bands out there right now. I’m extremely pumped to see them. AND THEN, we have got damn Dylan Dickerson (you may know him from Old Canoe) who is pretty much a local hero. Rumour has it that he plays a little bit of drum WHILE playing guitar WHILE singing. Get on it. AND OPENING THE SHOW, we have Young Mumbles, a duo consisting of darlings Delaney Mills and Trey Murphy. They have never ever disappointed me when I’ve seen them live and I’ve heard they’re got a trick or two up their sleeves for this show.
This show is going to be absolutely incredible. It’s cheap, it’s at El Burrito, it’s going to be everything you’ve ever wanted on a Sunday night.
