The Weekly Monitor is a music podcast orchestrated by Woody Jones and Jack Beasley covering the local music scene and regular happenings in Columbia. Woody and Jack do a great job covering weekly shows and featuring relevant artists and are a must listen if you are trying to keep up with what’s going on in your local scene.
Best of all, they are really consistent with their podcast, so you can count on them. They aren’t unreliable with show previews like us. They just released Episode #35 and are working on a huge episode for the Free Times Music Crawl featuring all of the artists that will be playing.
Both Woody and Jack are heavily involved in the music scene here and are always out at shows talking to everyone keeping in the know. Give them a listen, every week.
