Saturday November 5
When: 10:00-10:30
Where: Art Bar
How would you describe your sound to someone that has never heard your band?
A lot of people have been describing us as “dreamy indie-pop” lately, probably because of the extensive vocal/guitar harmonies we’ve included in our most recent songs. We agree with that, but would say that we’re straight up indie-pop with a lot of folk and rock influence, placing a heavy emphasis on musicianship.
Who are some of your biggest musical influences?
We all come from so many different places musically as individuals, so it’s hard to say. We look to our favorite local acts for inspiration a lot, guys like Marry A Thief (rest in peace), Junior Astronomers, The Restoration – people who connect with audiences and put on a great live show.
What other bands are you excited about seeing at Music Crawl?
Junior Astronomers, Marshall Brown, The Restoration. Going to miss the Octopus Jones, Elonzo and Sea Wolf Mutiny sets; upset about that.
What are you most excited about for the future of your band?
We’re set to release a new record this coming January. Our sights are completely fixed on that and making it sound as good as possible.
