Saturday night at Art Bar the Post-Echo crew will be putting on a show unlike any recent shows in Columbia. While there will be 4 bands performing there will also be 4 visual artists along with several video projections by visual artist Jason Stroud.
If you keep up with Post-Echo and their video updates you’ll know that they pride themselves on mixing different mediums of art. Like we’ve posted before, Forces of a Street have experimented with this in the past, posting user controlled videos to make your own interpretation of music they have recorded.
These are also the people behind the popular Future YALL compilation that came out in June of this year. 3 of the bands playing tonight were featured on that sampler that has been noticed throughout the SouthEast and was given the thumbs up by the taste-makers at Shuffle Magazine.
Go out to Art Bar tonight if you’re looking for something different, or just to support what Post-Echo is all about, because even if it isn’t your thing, it’s a great thing for Columbia.
