“Foxes and Dogs“
Came to be after my girlfriend and I had a bit of a falling out.  Our struggles with religion, and past relationships that have come and gone.  It’s very much a declaration of who I am and who I am going to be, without being persuaded or coerced into something that has not spoken with me yet.  And how I will continue to strive for the things I am most passionate about.  It’s a fun song.  We take in in all sorts of directions, the folky intro into the latin percussive ballad that it is.  Horns have become quite a novelty for this new record, and they show up sparingly, but when they do it’s obvious and we’ve had a lot of fun with that.
