Alright South Carolina, it’s spring break and I know you want to have a good time. If you’re not off drowning your stress in snake juice on Daytona Beach or flipping cats with the monks of Burma and instead are stuck in good ol’ South Carolina for spring break (like this guy) then I’ve got a treat for you. London-based band Fanfarlo are headed to Cat’s Cradle for a show commemorating the release of their newest album Rooms Filled With Light. If you watch that video that I posted you will see what I mean when I say they’re going to be awesome. I only just recently found out about Fanfarlo with this song Shiny Things and as soon as I heard it, I needed to find everything they had ever released.
Reservoir is their first album and it’s pretty incredible. They’ve had their songs featured on tv shows House and Chuck and played festivals such as SXSW and Glastonbury and they’re about to take the world by storm once again. Rooms Filled With Light is a brilliant album featuring songs that are even better than the video I posted. Check them out on Friday if you’re moping around and have nothing to do. Even if you do have something to do, ditch it and go see this show.
