Archer vs. Gunman has been quiet for close to a year now. A broken leg, changing members, and a band on the rise called Mountain Homes have a lot to do with that. But from the silence comes a new video from the Dan Manor acoustic series from Archer vs. Gunman front-man Shaun Williams.
The new song “Lighter Thief” and the acoustic performance are just the tip of the iceberg for what Archer vs. Gunman has in store. Last month they started recording a new EP with the young and talented WSBF duo Jordan Young and Chris Tollack of We Roll Like Madmen. From there they did some additional recording with Will Wong, who is Shaun Williams Mountain Homes band-mate. The new EP is being mastered by Michael Barksdale of Our Western Skies/Culture Prophet and is eying a mid summer release date. Judging from the new song heard in the acoustic session Archer vs. Gunman could be sitting on their finest tunes to date.
