If you don’t already know David, you’ll have a chance to meet him at The Radio Room tomorrow night, where he’ll be celebrating his birthday with TV Girl. The indie-pop outfit from San Diego is set to visit Greenville between stops in Athens, GA, and Atlanta in support of their recent mixtape release with Greedhead Music.
TV Girl reminds me a little bit of Netherfriends, another touring act who squeezed in a date at The Radio Room earlier this year. “I Wonder Who She’s Kissing Now”–a single from The Wild, The Innocent, The TV Shuffle–has one of those catchy, encouraging grooves that makes it almost too easy to listen to.  If Himanshu Suri, Greedhead owner and member of Das Racist, thinks a band is good, they’re probably worth a try.
