For bands touring through Asheville, NC the Moog Music Factory is a must stop attraction while in town. The photos from the factory include bands like Lucero, The Tallest Man on Earth, Dirty Projectors, and Yeasayer checking out the soundlab. Along with the new music factory has come a festival, now in its third year, that brings giants of the indie rock and EDM world to the hills of North Carolina and the longtime home of the visionary himself, Bob Moog.
Moogfest has become a festival unlike any other. With venues spread throughout downtown Asheville, thousands of people come from all over the Southeast on Halloween weekend to hear and see some of the most progressive live shows in the music industry today. This years lineup is more eclectic than ever before featuring forward thinking electronic artists such as Orbital, Richie Hawtin, and Squarepusher, alongside post rock Texas legends Explosions in the Sky. The lineup reaches further by including hip hop acts, and Primus first ever 3D-enhanced tour. The full lineup is listed below.
