Again, the event: FREE.

Parking: free and plentiful

When: Saturday August 25th, 10 am — 5 pm

Where: West Ashley Shoppes, across from Target / Citadel Mall

Monster Music and Movies will be hosting their biannual Charleston Record Expo, Saturday August 25 from 10 am -5 PM offering thousands of LP’s, 45’s, and music collectables.

No one really anticipated what the digital music boom would do for vinyl, but it breathed new life into a dying industry. Giving music lovers something to hold onto and comfort that a digital music file can’t give, vinyl has found its’ new home in the music landscape.

At this Charleston Record Expo over a dozen record dealers spread over 25 8 foot tables will have their collections up for grabs. Everything will be available from high-end collectables, to the bargain bin, the Expo is for everyone.

One of Charleston’s favorite food trucks “Hello, My Name is BBQ” will be serving up the BBQ so you’ll have something to nosh on while flipping through records. Wet naps will be available.

Come out, make friends, support your local music stores.
