In promotion of their upcoming show together, Steven Fiore and Entropy Ensemble have released two videos, both featuring original songs by Fiore. The video here, features Haley Shaw’s voice melting into Fiore’s, something we’ve seen many times before, with Andrew Walker of Entropy Ensemble on Piano.
Entropy Ensemble is based around the piano work of Andrew Walker and is best known for their Radiohead covers and their experimental musical style. Their collaborations never cease to wow listeners. The concert October 13, at Charleston Music Hall, is the culmination of the much thought out collaboration of Fiore and Walker.
For Entropy Ensemble, this is their first experimentation into the singer songwriter world. For Fiore, it will bring his mostly acoustic songs to life with the ensembles musical views taking over at times.

Prayers and Tears, of Chapel Hill, N.C. will be opening the show. The band’s 2005 album The Mother of Love Emulates the Shape of Cynthia is still referenced by many in the Carolina music scene. Wright and his band have not performed publicly in several years, and this will be their first time playing the Charleston area.
Doors for the October 13 show open at 8 p.m. and the show starts at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door or $12 for students, and can be purchased directly from the ticket office at Charleston Music Hall, 37 John Street.
