After featuring bands like Dawes, Jason Isbell, Apache Relay, Lucero, Deer Tick, Frontier Ruckus, Justin Townes Earle, Rogue Wave, and many more over the last couple of years the annual Fall for Greenville music lineup has become a much-anticipated announcement, and yet again this years lineup does not disappoint.
This years lineup features two solid headliners in Robert Randolph and the Family Band and Old 97’s along with a boatload of great up and coming talent. Kopecky Family Band is fresh off The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Weeks are Garden and Guns darlings, add in Futurebirds high energy country rock from Athens, GA, Brooklyn’s Swear and Shake, Jessica Lea Mayfield has made quite a name for herself with The Black Keys crew, Nashville’s Moon Taxi has been steadily on the rise playing huge festivals like Bonnarroo, and NC’s Bombadil is now out touring on a new record themselves. Then take a look at the plethora of top-notch local talent on the list with bands like The Soulfeathers, Grey Spy, Darby Wilcox, Say Brother, Our Western Sky, Reggie Sullivan Band, Heyrocco, Brave Baby, Mel Washington, Elim Bolt, Moutain Homes, Alexa Woodward, Mark Webb, and the list goes on. Add in regional staples like Emily Lynch, The Whiskey Gentry, American Aquarium, and veterans The Blue Dogs. This years lineup is a music lovers dream, and even more this is just the music portion of all that Fall for Greenville has to offer. Talk about a destination event. Kudos to the city of Greenville for this one.
