The number one album on WUSC‘s charts released Monday, Nov. 25 was Tennis‘ Small Sound.
Released Nov. 5, the EP is the husband and wife duo’s third release. Patrick Riley (the husband) and Alaina Moore (you guessed it–the wife) met while they were college students in Colorado. After graduation, the pair spent seven months sailing the Eastern Seaboard before returning to Colorado to begin their music career.
Small Sound is like a petite little poppy tease and it’s no wonder WUSC has made it number one. The collection starts off strong with the doo-wopp-y “Mean Streets”, takes you on a sweet journey until “Dimming Light”, another gem, and finishes on a fuzzier note with “100 Lovers”.
4/5 thumbs.
The Diagnosis will not be airing this Thursday, but will return Dec. 5.
