Don’t call it a comeback.
It’s me. Reporting live from Nashville, TN which looks cool on TV but is actually just as hot and humid as the rest of the South. We’re still 40-ish days away from the start of College Football, so I guess I can share some more of what I’ve digging recently… since I still have all this free time.
please enjoy this photo of me from the last time I was on a football field
basically I am the Snow White of the Tennessee Titans
Closer – Thief
“I know what I’ve gotta do, this is over / I’m too tired of watching you f-ck me over”
I don’t remember how I stumbled across this track. I don’t know anything about this band. I’m not gonna look up their bio and rehash it for you here. Just press play and let me know if you like the song or not.

Follow her here – @StevieNicksOfficial
My other spirit animals (Miranda Lambert & Meredith Stringer) already have them, so it was only a matter of time.
NO, she hasn’t posted anything yet (as of press time), BUT SHE WILL. And it will be glorious!
Heart of Mine – Blake Mills w/ Danielle Haim
“Heart of mine go back home / You got no reason to wander, no reason to roam”
This song is off the “Chimes of Freedom” Album, which was a Bob Dylan tribute compilation released in 2012. I remember it being released, and people freaking out over Miley Cyrus’ (surprisingly?) amazing cover of “You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go”, but I don’t remember this song making a blip on my radar. Until now. Sure, it’s easy to cover such a well written song, (see also: why everyone covers Buckingham/Nicks era Fleetwood Mac), but damn. Why is this so good? Blake Mills and Danielle Haim were dating at the time, and the chemistry is obvious in this recording. Danielle played drums and sang backup on this track, right before her family band “HAIM” started to blow up. Blake Mills is only 27! and has already befriended, collaborated and recorded with all of your favorite bands.

Uber has arrived! (Charleston, Columbia, Myrtle Beach, and Greenville)
From their site: Now residents of the Palmetto State can request a ride at the touch of a button – it’s that easy! Uber will connect you with the closest available driver in town, ready to pick you up in minutes. You’ll see a photo of your drivers, the cars they are driving, and even watch them on the app as they drive toward you. There’s never been a safer, more seamless, and affordable way to move around your state.
What this means: You can request a ride from an app!
+ it’s cheaper and nicer than most cabs
+ it uses your phone’s GPS, so you can set your exact pickup location, and get an estimated fare to your desired destination
+ you can split fares with other friends, and never need cash
Sure, it helps cut down on drunk driving (PLEASE DON’T EVER), but I also use it when I go to shows/events and don’t want to worry about finding a place/paying to park. Uber is also in several cities across the country (and world), so you can use it if you’re all about that jet-set life.
Use my promo code - https://www.uber.com/invite/uberKBrock and get free rides (and help me out too!) and once you’re set up, you can earn free rides by inviting your friends.
*** I solemnly swear this isn’t a pyramid scheme.
