This week’s Diagnosis will not have a featured artist because…it’s fundraiser week!
Once a semester, WUSC has a week of specialty programming and events aimed at raising money for the station to stay functioning. This semester’s fundraising goal is $4,000 and you can help WUSC reach this in a couple different ways.
The first option is to tune in to your favorite show (The Diagnosis, of course) and call in to make a donation. From $5 to $500, any amount is greatly appreciated. Making a donation this way can get you a number of promotional items, including t-shirts, socks, phone chargers and other little trinkets. All show playlists will follow the spring break theme.
Another option is to come out to one of the three events. To kick off fundraiser week, WUSC will be hosting a dance party at Breaker’s in Five Points. This event will feature music from Moas Collective and is for those listeners 18 and older. The best part–this event is free! WUSC will be taking a cut of the bar that night, so be sure to grab a drink.
On Tuesday, join WUSC at Uncle Maddio’s on Main St. for a percent night. Finally, on Wednesday, WUSC presents Masonjar Menagerie at Tin Roof. Openers will be the Half Measures and Noah & the Real Girls. This event is also free.
Be sure to tune in to tomorrow’s Diagnosis on 90.5 FM or wusc.sc.edu for DJ Steve-O and I’s spring break playlists.
I could definitely help raise money for WUSC through a performance. Big up to y’all efforts!
