Of the new albums in the top 10 the Faline album and the new Heyrocco have been in rotation non-stop since their release. Both Heyrocco and Faline have SC shows on the horizon. Heyrocco play Charleston Pour House with Broncho Thursday June 18 and then Bluetile in Columbia, SC June 19. Faline play Conundrum June 25 with Drag City artist Faun Fables.
The best new uploads come from Youngster, Human Resources, and Mechanical River. “Boyfriend Yes” might sound familiar as it was featured on the 2014 SceneSC Sampler. Youngster’s new EP Extended Play is also moving up, with four excellent new songs that channels The Strokes in their prime. Both Human Resources and Youngster are must listens for those looking for up and coming South Carolina bands.
