In the new video from We Roll Like Madmen puppeteer Lyon Hill puts his unique artistic touch on the second video for a Columbia band this year, having done the artwork for the excellent Can’t Kids video for “Ghost Killa” that came out in May. The Can’t Kids video shows more of a behind the scenes touch, while the video for “You Thought You” dives deep into a boys fantasy and nightmare with a beautifully drawn and filmed sequence of events. The depth of field and focus work on top make the video even more effective as it adds touch and shows the layers of the artwork. The video was produced by Fort Pysch, a progressive media and events company who use visual technology to enhance live performances.
“You Thought You” follows the release of lead single “Needy AF”, the lead single off We Roll Like Madmen’s upcoming album AFÂ due out on Post Echo.
