Built from the iPad up, new Columbia electronic husband/wife duo Husband weave a combination of live instruments and electronic tracks into palatable pop songs. As you can see in these videos, and at their live shows, Adam Corbett and Rebekah Rice, let their voices fall together into intertwining melodies, passing the lead from song to song. That’s just what they’ve done here in the two Papa Jazz sessions streaming now. “Kite Flyer” is the first song released by the band, a reimaginated song from Corbett released on South Carolina label 10 Foot Woody. On “War in this House” Corbett brings in the guitar adding texture to the electronic setup and Rice takes the lead vocals.
