The most impressive part of Skanksgiving this year, the annual Thanksgiving time show headlined by Debbie and the Skanks, was just how good each band was. Alarm Drum get better with every show they play, always impressing more as they grow as a band. Dumb Doctors brought an energy and grunge feel with their garage rock style that bled over later into the Secret Guest set. The Mobros smoother blues fell in between before Debbie and the Skanks blended the stylings of the previous bands with some foot on the metal grungy blues rock. The secret of the booze was in full effect, and as I expected the secret of the snooze was in full effect the following day.
