Beach Bug had just ripped through a 20 minute set playing first on a five band bill at New Brookland Tavern before we recorded these two songs across the street. These versions stand in stark contrast to the ones performed on stage less than an hour before. Stripped down to just a classical guitar and percussion, the songs stand strong, but full band in all their grungy distorted glory the energy of the band and the emotion of the songs stretched into the crowd.
Beach Bug rep The Pablo Generation, a talented collective of musicians from the Upstate including Quality Time, Tom Angst, J.S. Terry, Apricot Blush, Daddy’s Beemer and more. Give em all a listen.
