Ohmme stopped in to If Art in Columbia, SC on an off day from their tour with Iron and Wine last night with support from locals Stagbriar, who played their first show in nearly four years. The crowd showed up early, and filled in the small gallery for Stagbriar’s all to brief set. Last night, they played as a duo, but they’ll be back full band Friday November, 23 at Skanksgiving at New Brookland Tavern. Ohmme performed as a three-piece, powerful in that format. Performing their new album in full, the crowd beckoned them back for a three song encore. The set also included a David Bowie cover, but not one that you’d expect. They covered “Girls Love Me” from Bowie’s farewell album Blackstar.
