Sean Rayford is celebrating the release of his new photo zine “For the Record” — a nod to local hardcore band Stretch Arm Strong — on Saturday, April 27 at New Brookland Tavern. Pre order your copy to support Sean’s work and his continued photo coverage of the music scene.
S.W.I.M & The Royal American proudly announce the 3rd Annual Cultura Festival in Downtown Charleston on April 13, 2024, from 4pm – 11pm at The Royal American parking lot. The cultural celebration showcases local and regional Black artists alongside national and international acts, promoting diversity and inclusion.
Indie pop band P!lot in Charleston shared their new single “Fake Hangover,” released on Friday along with a new video. Produced by Wolfgang Zimmerman, it’s a day dreamy song and video that you’ll want to add to your spring playlists.
Upstate artist Aaron J. Burke released a new EP of Irish leaning country tunes titled “F.F.S. (Five Flood Songs).” He shared on his IG that “unmastered taster of what’s to come from the double album i’ve been working on, a double album put together in order to try and keep up with @reubenknightsmusic prolific output! This sampler has a few old songs and some brand spanking new songs.”
A few of country music’s biggest stars are coming to South Carolina this fall and you’ll have to shell out the big bucks to see them. You can even get on a payment plan for the Field & Stream Festival.
Eric Church and Morgan Wallen bought the rights to Field & Stream to revitalize the 150+ year old outdoor brand. Now, the duo is launching their inaugural festival on Oct. 4-6 in Winnsboro, SC headlined by Eric Church and Lainey Wilson. Beyond the music the festival offers immersive outdoor experiences like clay shooting and fishing charters.
Also announced is Koe Wetzel with Treaty Oak Revival at Colonial Life Arena in Columbia. The East Texas-born singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer Koe Wetzel has over 2.4 billion streams to date.
Clemson University, with the City of Clemson and Southern Entertainment, is hosting the first Clemson Music Fest on April 19-20. Headliners include T-Pain, Mt. Joy, and Two Friends.
