Since last we spoke I’ve begun playing adult kickball, I refreshed my Twitter bio, and someone broke the Guinness world record for twerking without me.  Things are pretty exciting in these times we’re a-livin’ in, yanawmean? It might be better if I lived in Tuscaloosa and could cash in on that free waffle jazz, or if I cared about this at all, or if I wanted to find a new boyfriend. What was extra delightful is that we had a dear reader submit a nomination for this week’s #TwitterThursday…it did not disappoint.  Meet @magneticflowers: Fish sticks and lite britez was totes the working title of my memoirs.  Now that’s out because these geniuses obviously live in the dark space between my eyeballs and the back of my skull.  Get out my thoughts, y’all!  Or hey, we could combine forces for evil.  Whatever.  Seriously, quit.  Old, Cold, and Losing it was going to be the title of my second memoir after my ultimate demise and attempt at a comeback.  I hate everything.  Except this album.  Check it out.  Actually buy it, because the perks sound wonderful. Now I can’t relate to the kiddie pool of relish part, but let’s be honest, you had me at sleeveless tshirt.  One less item in my closet I have to cut up myself?  SCORE!  I always cut the armholes too big anyway and make myself look like my dad (#BigRoyTweets) in Myrtle Beach circa 1987.  But I digress… Some of my favorite tweets from twitter this week are: I almost peed my pants once I opened this tweet to reveal the photo.  That’s a real candle.  And Yankee Candle has it TM’d not Axl.  This is not metal y’all.  Not one bit metal in the least. This made me happy and sad at the same time.  #1 aww thanks Tegan and Sara (who proclaimed their bestieship to me via Twitter) for the kind words, but #2 aww I wish I had been there.  Living in the upstate of SC has its perks, (such as, such as…) but we don’t get Tegan and Sara and for that I am sad.  I’d have loved to have been in the lowcountry (or at O’bro in Cola) on Tuesday, but alas, I twas not. Then there was this graphically elegant display of tongue talents from Ben Bridwell that made it’s way into the twittersphere.  It was also written by a british person, you can tell because of the fancy spellin’, but also because Mike’s the drummer in a London based band.  It just fills me with delight all around. If you want to bring some delight into my life, why don’t you recommend a person, band, or entity for #TwitterThursday.  Send all requests to @SceneSC because they handle all of my fan mail correspondence personally.
