In spring of 2012 we teamed up with Hearts & Plugs and Apt A studio in Charleston to film a series of acoustic sessions with select Charleston artists, with multiple cameras and multiple microphones set up around the room. The results were amazing, with top notch performances from each artists that we can’t wait to debut. The name “Softcore Sessions” stems from the acoustic performances held at the SceneSC House of Softcore in Columbia, SC.
In our first performance Susto’s Justin Osborne plays a song titled “Friends, Lovers, Ex-Lovers, Whatever.”, a song he originally debuted via a demo through his former band Sequoyah Prep School on Valentine’s Day. The song is lyrically candid and precise, lasting less than two minutes to make its statement. “Friends, Lovers…” has since been adopted as a Susto song, featured on the bands ReverbNation page.
