Can’t Kids have a new 7 inch split with NC band Schooner due out early next year on Sit-N-Spin Records, but they’ve released their three tunes early through their Bandcamp page. The clear highlight of the split is the first song “Walmart Parking Lot”, which on first listen is an instant Can’t Kids classic. The track starts out with choppy lyrics and cello, building gradually with memorable melodies and lyrics sung in unison between Adam Cullum and Jessica Oliver. Leave it to Can’t Kids to find a way to squeeze three tracks onto one side of a 7 inch split.
Jordan Blackmon again killed it with the artwork. Talk about an artist with his own style. <3
