The inaugural Camp Cola Fest is set to take place on Saturday, July 27, from 12 to 10 PM at Runway 728 and nearby spaces. The South Edisto area of Rosewood is no secret in the music community. The area was once home to One Unit where you may have seen Turnover, Titus Andronicus, or Ceremony and next door is a longtime rehearsal space for a variety of local bands over the years.
The music and arts festival features multiple stages, ticketed Side Quests, local food trucks, vendors, and an array of summer camp-inspired hands-on experiences.

“We wanted to create a grown-up summer camp party feel,” said Lauren, the event organizer, explaining that the festival aims to offer enjoyable outdoor activities despite the summer heat.
Venue Details
Runway 728, managed by Hangar Loft Events, is a new addition to Columbia’s event scene. The venue includes three interconnected spaces: an outdoor stage area that accommodates up to 1,000 people, an indoor stage with a beer and wine bar for up to 250 guests, and a 1940s chapel perfect for intimate side events or a rave.
Music Lineup and Activities
The lawn stage, where General Admission Campers (GA Campers) can check out performances, features over 10 local acts. For those looking to elevate their experience, the Most Valuable Campers (MVCs) ticket offers access to the MVC stage and MVC Lounge, including the Camp Cola Fest after-party from 10 PM to midnight. Additionally, with access to air conditioning, private restrooms, an indoor bar, and rotating snack options throughout the day, MVCs will enjoy an upgraded camp experience.
Both MVC and GA Campers can further customize their experience by securing slots for Side Quest add-on activities. Lauren highlighted the diverse activities planned: “We have ten acts outside, so in ten hours, it’s ten acts. And that doesn’t include… a drum circle at one point… and field day activities and games like capture the flag and tug of war where people can compete for prizes.”
