Are you in a local band that would like to reach out to more people in town and/or the world? Find out what works and doesn’t work for other bands in town. What clubs have they worked with, who records their music, manufactures their CDs, creates their artwork, prints their flyers and posters? How do you get coverage in the local print media. How do you get your song(s) on WUSC and Rock 93.5?
We’ll be getting local musicians together for a night of camaraderie, fun and education. Come out and have a beer or a soda and talk with other bands, promoters, sound engineers, disc jockeys, artists and music lovers in town. Find new and old bands to set up shows with. Bring your ideas and your brain sponge.
Bring your whole band or just your own self. We’ll be starting a mailing list that evening to try to keep discussion open. Metal, punk, hardcore, hip hop, indie, pop, Americana, electronica and poop kazoo genres all welcome.
Mike Lyons, booking agent for NBT will be available to answer questions and possibly set up future shows.
The following people/organizations will be present to help with your needs:
