We started covering Grayson Venter’s solo project and his band The Devil and the Lion early on in the history of Scene SC and if you’ve followed the blog for awhile you might have noticed that he sort of disappeared. Well these days he is playing in Calculator and holding down backing vocals and guitar and doing a fine job at it.
We came across this old video this morning and realized how much we missed his solo stuff. I think he is past due for a solo show at the House of Softcore if he still remembers those songs from two years ago. The video above is one of our favorite performances of his. It features him and his sister in Winter of 08′ at The Watershed.
