Tree By The River is the first single released off the upcoming Iron and Wine album Kiss Each Other Clean set to come out later this month.
It’s not exactly what you would expect from Sam Beam compared to earlier Iron and Wine releases. The song has a very clean recording and veers more into pop than folk. It might be the only way to go when the recordings that made you popular were lofi acoustic folk songs.
