This band is so awesome and I wish I could go to this show. Seriously, if you are not doing anything on Saturday night, hell, even if you are doing something, ditch that and go see these guys. You know those bands that you like when they’re not very big, but then they get big, and you’re like “I knew these guys when they were small”? Well, The Love Language are 100% that type of band. They’re definitely going to blow up, so go see them, I’m sure you’ll be blown away.
If you wanna listen to them first, check out their spiffy website. They remind me a lot of The Morning Benders and a little of Bright Eyes. It’s some excellent music and I’m sure their shows are fantastic. They have 7 members and two of them are girls. When there are girls, that means there are gonna awesome boy/girl harmonies and YOU KNOW THAT ALWAYS SOUNDS AWESOME. I’m really jealous of anyone who gets to go to this show, but it’s okay because they’re playing at Hopscotch Music Festival in September. But they’ll have a huge crowd there, and here will be intimate and excellent and I promise you that you will love it.
It’s only $6. That is nothing. If you don’t have $6 to go to this show, you’re not real. The Love Language at Art Bar is the only thing you need to do on Saturday night.
