It hasn’t been easy to describe The Front Bottoms to people. Over the last month or so I’ve been telling people to come out and see them, handing out copies of their new album to people that might tell their friends how great they are. See, when I got their album in the mail I put it in my CD player and listened to it for 2 hours straight on a drive to Charleston. I also listened to it while I was driving around Charleston and all the way back. Their album is candid, and catchy, and visual, and descriptive. It’s late adolescent and coming of age.
So, I asked The Front Bottoms how they would describe their music. They couldn’t pin it down either. That’s where your music should be.
