How would you describe your sound to someone that has never heard your band?
Tug Eats Everything once said we sound like Joy Divsion doing Nirvana covers in Free Times. That was accurate at the time. The newer stuff has a few more disco balls in it.
Who are some of your biggest musical influences?
Sade, Abba, Battles, Dennis Wilson, The Cars, Nirvana, Kraftwerk.
What other bands are you excited about seeing at Music Crawl?
Sweet Vans. They go H.A.M. The Unawares. The Get Wets.
What are you most excited about for the future of your band?
The new record. It’s shaping up like Brancusi.
