Everyone’s favorite over the top, angsty and utterly brilliant Canadians are back from their self imposed post-Suburbs hiatus.  Their new album Reflektor is due on October 29th and after weeks of rumors and speculation the first single, and its accompanying video(s), are here.  Produced by James Murphy, of LCD Soundsystem fame, this 7 minute track would already represent a fairly stark departure from the bands previous work.  David Bowie has confirmed that he appears on the album (I’m fairly certain that’s him doing backing vocals on “Just a Reflektor”), and the video features footage filmed in Régine Chassagne’s native Haiti.
