I forgot to post this last week, but Congratulations to The Lyons brothers at New Brookland Tavern for 4 years as NBT owners.

So many local bands owe their start to New Brookland Tavern and I don’t think they all fully appreciate the venue as much as I do.  So if you’re in a band support NBT any way you can.  Make sure to go to other bands shows and work hard to promote your own shows.  I know from personal experience, if you bring people to shows they will put you on a bill with a big band.  What other way would I have gotten to open up for The Juliana Theory??  And not in that ‘hey we played a festival once with a big band’.

Oh yeah and what other venue can Festus The White Trash Band from Blue Ridge, SC open up for Emery, Hawthorne Heights and From First to Last???  I love my cousins.

It was also Charleston Pour House’s Third Year Anniversary.

I don’t have the same relationship with them, so no stories yet.  Hopefully I can make it to Charleston more than once every 3 months and make some memories.

But Congratulations and here’s to the next 3 and 4 years!
