Ghosts of the Great Highway/Steven Fiore/Mike Mewborne/Austin Crane
It was only a couple of months ago when we discovered a relatively unknown talented artist and started to do what we could do to introduce him to the world. Since playing the Scene SC kick off party, Ghosts of the Great Highway haven’t slowed down a bit. Since November of last year Phil has played a steady amount of shows and recorded a full length album with Kenny McWilliams (Hello Tomorrow/Austin Crane). 10 bones gets you in the door and gets you a copy of the CD.
Ghosts of the Great Highway CD release isn’t the only special thing happening Thursday night. The real kicker for me is that Steven Fiore will be opening up. Steven, who now calls Boston home, is a native of Charleston and for a long time was a staple of the music scene there. You might have seen him last summer at 5 Points Pub with Slowrunner, Jay Clifford and guest vocals by Haley Shaw.
Don’t worry this show only gets better. Also appearing will be Austin Crane (who also plays in GOTGH) and Mike Mewborne. Hopefully Mike will bring the L0vely Few too.
